Scott Kobayashi

Owner & Marketing Strategist

Scott founded YUMI Social Media Agency in 2018 as a way to boost the presence of local businesses in Hawaii. Coming from generations of entrepreneurs, working with local businesses has always been Scott’s passion and desire.

Scott is happily married to his wife Mikela Kobayashi and are expecting their first child in December 2020.

Scott has his Bachelor’s Degree in Family Resources from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and in his free time, enjoys traveling the world, playing dodgeball, hiking, sports, working out, eating good food, and working on cars.

Mikela Kobayashi

Social Media Manager & Content Creator

Along side her husband Scott, Mikela help start YUMI Social Media in 2018 and dove right into the marketing scene, developing creative content to our clients.

She has her Bachelor’s of Science in Microbiology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. During her free time, Mikela enjoys traveling the world with her husband, trying new foodie spots, and spending time with our youth.

With over 20 years of digital marketing experience, R.K. has helped provide many businesses with digital marketing strategy and efficiency. R.K.’s specialty has been helping non-profits communicate a clear message while implementing digital marketing strategies to grow their donations & reach.

R.K. joined the YUMI SOCIAL team in 2020 in hopes of helping the small businesses of Hawaii.

R.K. & his wife Kelike and their 3 kids recently moved to Paraguay to pursue non-profit work.
